PAWS for Reading – Sandi Phillips from the Corporate office has been involved with this wonderful organization run by Support Dogs, Inc. for years.  Visits from these loveable, nonthreatening canine classmates are designed to be incentives to encourage children to develop their reading and writing skills.  Sandi and her dog Cici visit two local first grade classes on a regular basis and are also members of the organization’s TOUCH program (Therapy Of Unique Canine Helpers), visiting hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and other health care facilities.

St. Louis Children's Hospital – St. Louis is blessed to have one of the leading children’s hospital’s in the country.  Each summer, the hospital hosts its annual Family Day at Six Flags to raise money for the hospital and the thousands of families it serves.  Equis has been a sponsor of this fun event for the past six years.
